2023: All South East Votes Will Go To APC – Umahi Assures Tinubu
Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Ebonyi state governor, Dave Umahi, has assured Bola Tinubu, the All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential candidate that he will garner all the votes from the south east part of the country.
Umahi who was speaking during the inauguration of the Ebonyi Governor’s Lodge on Wednesday in Abuja, told Tinubu who was in attendance that he has no doubt that he (Tinubu) would take care of the Igbo people if he becomes the next president of the country.
In his words;
“We are not hiding to say that you are our candidate, and you will take care of South-East people, and all our votes will go to APC. There is no mistake about that.
“So, the people of the South-East, we have spoken. I am the Chairman of the South-East Governors’ Forum, so I speak on their behalf”.
