Alex Otti’s Consistency Towards A Better Abia Is Rare – Ferdinand Ekeoma
The spokesperson of Dr Alex Otti’s Campaign Council, Mr Ferdinand Ekeoma, has described the consistency of his principal, in contesting for the governorship position in Abia state as a rare trait which can only emanate from a man whose only interest is to see a better Abia state. WATCH VIDEO:
Ekeoma during an interactive programme on AF-TELEVISION tagged “Time Out With Alex Otti” on Tuesday, stated that Otti’s decision to leave the banking sector where he had risen to a greater height to move into politics, is a very rare decision which can only come from a man who does not seek luxury but the good of Abia people.
Recall that Alex Otti resigned his position as the Group managing director of Diamond bank in 2014, contested governorship position in 2015, 2019 and currently running for the 2023 election without retreating under the Labour party.
“Alex Otti is prepared for this job; he is not an accidental aspirant nor candidate. it takes a man of capital courage to do what he (Otti) did, it takes a man who had accessed himself; for him to leave the position of a bank CEO; It’s a once in a century decision; it’s not common, it’s very rare” Ekeoma said.
He added;
“if he was looking for money, publicity, comfort and luxury, he definitely would not have taken that ceision. His was a decision anchored by pro Abia altruism. “he stood; continued to speak for the people, continued to ask questions that bothers on governance to give advice on the right things to be done to get it right in Abia; that is the hallmark of a patriot, a statesman, a visionary leader”.
According to Ekeoma, the supposed desperation of Otti to become the governor of Abia state, is targeted at redeeming Abia without accepting side offers nor considering personal benefits.
