Akwa Ibom: Onofiok Withdraws From Guber Race, Declares Support Umo Eno

Member of the House of Representatives and governorship aspirant, Rt. Hon. Onofiok Luke has officially withdrawn from the guber race.

TheMail Newspaper learnt that Luke on Tuesday declared support for the PDP guber candidate, Pastor Umo Eno who is his kinsman from Nsit Ubium.

Onofiok had earlier today met with some of his supporters at his campaign office in Ewet Housing.

Our source informed that Luke left the campaign office to attend a meeting with Ntenyin Solomon Etuk and other Paramount Rulers at the Oku Ibom Ibibio’s palace in Nsit Ubium.

At the meeting, Luke bowed to “superior reasoning”from the Royal fathers by declaring support for Umo Eno.
