The new executives were elected at the first post-Covid bi-annual convention of the Association held in Phoenix, Arizona from October 14 to 16, 2022.
A statement released on Monday, October 17 and cosigned by Chief Enyinnaya Alamba, President, ASNA-NA and Princess Agezim Nwokonko, PMO, ASNA-NA read in part;
“There will be a paradigm shift in our program and our determination to move our association forward! This new administration would be all-inclusive; they will take actions that would benefit all Abians in the diaspora and Abians at home. This administration would not be parochial in its dealings and would not be afraid, to tell the truth to power. The ASNA-NA would continue to carry out humanitarian activities as enshrined in our constitution especially Medical outreach and awareness as was carried out in the past.”
