Chukwuemeka Nwokoro, the State Legal Adviser, All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Abia state, has refuted that a court of appeal reaffirmed Prince Nnanna Ukaegbu as the party’s chairman.

Nwokoro in an interview with ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER on Wednesday, noted that the alleged judgement is a lie being paraded by Ukaegbu to deceive Abians.

He alleged that Ukaegbu is not a member of APGA as he was suspended in 2014, adding that Rev. Augustine Ehiemere remains the only recognized state chairman of the party.

The legal adviser of the party, stated that the suit filed by Ukaegbu in 2014, is dead and APGA has filed a motion before a trial court to delete the suit from its cause list as the suit is spent, having exceeded the required number of years to get hearing.

“You must be a member of a party before you begin to lay claim on the leadership of the party”.

“the suit Ukaegbu is parading which he got from an injunction, that suit is dead itself” Nwokoro said

He described Ukaegbu as a gold digger and a noise maker who goes around trying to deceive Abians.

The legal adviser also revealed why Dr. Alex Otti lost the 2015 and 2019 governorship elections under APGA.
