Information reaching AFNEWS has it that former governor of Abia State and Senator representing Abia Central, Senator T. A Orji has filed a N1.5 billion defamation suit against All Progressive Congress (APC) board of trustee member, Chief BB Apugo and a radio station based in Umuahia, Abia State.
Based on what we gathered, this suit with No. HU/209/2020 is connected to a live broadcast on radio where Chief B.B Apugo made some statements which Senator T.A Orji described as defamatory and libelous.
We gathered that the defendants have been served with court processes as regards the N1.5Bn suit.
