(ABIA) Ukoha: Minority Whip Charges Executives/Members of Ututu Development Union Aba Branch to Think Homeward
The Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency Abia House of Assembly Hon. Dr. Onyekwere Mike Ukoha, recently visited executives and members of Ututu Development Union (UDU), Aba Branch on an interactive visit.
The Lawmaker who quite elated to witness the members having meeting in a brotherly manner, explained that he has the people of Ututu in high esteem, which prompted his visit to each and everyone of them.
Hon. Ukoha, during the meeting expressed gratitude to Ututu people, both at home and in diaspora on their unalloyed support towards his representation.
He used the opportunity to enlighten them of the need to transfer their registration to their various units in Ututu Ward, by leveraging on the ongoing voter registration and transfer being made available by INEC.
According to the Lawmaker, one good way in which the peoples’ voice can be heard loudly is through their votes, which according to him remains critical in the political decision making process.
He highlighted some of his numerous activities within the last 2 years in office.
Earlier, the President Ututu Development Union, Aba Branch, Chief Nnubia Oti, had lauded the many giant strides of the Lawmaker, which are evidence across the 5 clans in Arochukwu LGA.
Chief Oti, agreed that there is need for the people to actively participate in the ongoing voter registration and transfer, which according to him will make the people to be more aware of what is going on politically.
He thanked Hon. Ukoha, for finding time to visit them despite his tight schedule and described him as a down to earth personality, while praying God to continue to give him more wisdom in his representational responsibilities to his people.
