Mazi Omelazu , the deceased father, visibly looking distraught and grieve stricken said with the untimely death of his first child whom he had committed his all to train hoping that he will assist in bringing up his five other siblings, his life has been shattered, and therefore appealed for help from all well-meaning quarters. In an exclusive interview with ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER, Mazi Omelazu narrated how his son was caught up in the accident.

“Nnamdi after graduating from the Federal Polytechnic Nekede was admitted into the Abia state University Uturu to continue his studies in mechanical engineering. As at the time this thing happened, he was in his final year. He was observing his Industrial Training programme IT at an establishment located at the market. So, he was at the market for work on that fateful day as any other day. Unfortunately, he was caught up in the accident and understand he was one of the people that died on the spot. I have six children and Nnamdi was the first child. I am a petty trader and all my hope was to struggle and see him through and with God he will in turn assist in bringing up his other brothers and sisters. But look at me today. I don’t know how and where to begin after the death of Nnamdi. I am using this medium to appeal for assistance from the government and other individuals” Mazi Omelazu pleaded.

In his grave side sermon, pastor Jonathan Chikezie, the Regional General over seer of Deeper Life Bible Church ABA admonished Christians not to despair and defeated spiritually in the face of adversities, noting that contrary to the popular belief among many people that worse things happen to them when adversities like the sudden death of Nnamdi occurs, the worst thing that can happen to a person is when he lived and died without knowing God. “Some people think that the worst thing that can happen to them is to lose some one dear to them. Some think that the worse thing is when they fail to realize their life ambition. While others believe that the worse thing to them is when something like we are witnessing today happens to them. No. The worse thing that can happen to a person is for him to reject God, and to die without knowing Him. “Pastor Chikezie said.
