Speaker of Abia Stste House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji has congratulated Wife of the Governor of Abia State, Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu PhD, on her being awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) on completion of her academic pursuits at the Abia State University, Uturu.

In his congratulatory message, the Speaker described Dr (Mrs) Nkechi Ikpeazu as an epitome of humility and a worthy example of excellence achieved through dedication to one’s vision.

He said despite the obvious fact that Dr (Mrs) Nkechi Ikpeazu has been greatly supporting her husband, the Governor, by keeping the home together and performing her role excellently well as Wife of the Governor, Dr (Mrs) Ikpeazu did not hesitate in pursuing her academic vision to its logical conclusion. The Speaker described such qualities as highly exemplary and urged other women of the State to emulate the First Lady.

While praying that God continues to guide, protect and uplift Dr (Mrs) Nkechi Ikpeazu, the Speaker implored the First Lady to continue being a light for all the women of the state.
