Abia Speaker, Chinedum Orji Loses Ikwuano/Umuahia Fed. Const. Election | SEE RESULT
Right Honourable Engineer Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, the speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly cum the candidate of the PDP for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency, has lost the Saturday, February 25, 2023 election.
Orji lost his House of Representative bid to his Labour Party counterpart, Chief Obi Aguocha.
According to the result announced by the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Professor Uma Kalu Oke; LP polled 48,199 votes while PDP polled 35,196 votes.
