Ahead of the re-run election between Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Prince Eric Aso Kalu and Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), there is currently some damning allegations and revelations in court against the PDP candidate.

There is currently a certificate saga rocking the camp of the PDP and its representative ahead of  the re-run in 10 polling units in  Arochukwu Local Government, this is coming just days after stake holder and elders of Ututu community expressed displeasure in PDP for fielding a candidate who lacks Human and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, even so they are afraid the voice of Arochukwu people will be as good as dead if he is elected.

The matter which was presented to a federal high court sitting in Umuahia, Abia state with suit no: FHC/UM/CS/14/2019 by the complainant Egbebu Christian Kalu. Citing:  MOTION ON NOTICE RELISTING STRUCK OUT SUIT BROUGHT PURSUANT TO ORDER 14, RULE 10, ORDER 19, RULE 3, AND ORDER 26, RULES 2 (1) (3) (4-5) OF FEDERAL HIGH COURT (CIVIL PROCEDURES) RULE 2019 AND UNDER INHERENT JURISDICTION OF THE HONOURABLE COURT.

Based on what AFNews gather, the complainant Egbebu Christian Kalu was a co contestant for the Arochukwu House of Assembly ticket under the PDP, he earlier filed the perjury charges against Mr Eric Aso, but the matter was struck out because of lack of representation due to the health condition of his lawyer. The matter was relisted today and adjourned to 4th of February 2020 for proper argument.

Documents available to AFNews reveals the disparity in name of the defendant when he was in primary schooland the subsequent certificates from his tertiary education. Against this backdrop the heat on certificate forgery intensifies and puts the Peoples Democratic Party candidate and the Arochukwu people in bad light analysts warns.

As this equally translates to false information or perjury and may disqualify Mr Eric from contesting.

At the end of the day, if Eric is voted, he emerges Arochukwu House of Assembly member and the court finds his guilty, Arochukwu will be facing the same condition Abia North is currently passing through.

Alleged false documents to be published soon.
