Chief Dr. Barr. Okwun Ojah (Onwa 1 of Ohafia), has commenced rehabilitation work on the damaged Ugwu Nchara road in Amaekpu Ohafia, Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State.
The road rehabilitation is sponsored solely by Ojah who was AFNEWS Community Development award winner for the year 2018 and 2019.
The road reconstruction commenced on Tuesday, June 14, 2022.
Inspecting the construction progress on Wednesday, community members including the royal fathers, lauded Barrister Ojah for his philanthropic work, noting that his concern for the well-being, peace and welfare of the community is second to none.
They prayed God to continue protecting and empowering the sponsor, Chief Dr. Barr. Okwun Ojah, with more grace, good health and commitment to living up to his well-deserved Chieftaincy Tittle; ‘Ogba Nkpu Ohafia’ (the rescue ambassador) which was recently conferred on him by the Council of Ohafia Traditional Rulers.
The people of Amaekpu Ohafia called on other sons and daughters to emulate barrister Ojah for the development of communities in the area.
