One of the prominent sons of Isuikwuato, Chief Cyril Ukabi Okemiri who hails from Acha has formally announced his defection to the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The respected son of the soil, and one time Local Government Chairmanship candidate under the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, made a formal declaration and registration as a member of the APC, at the APC Isuikwuato LGA stakeholders meeting, held at the Local government’s Secretariat on March 5.

At the event, Chief Okemiri described APC as the party determined to change the narrative of governance in Abia and the country at large.

He promised to support the party , to ensure that it’s glory is felt at all times in Isuikwuato and the entire Abia.

He therefore called on well meaning Abians to join the trend to ensure that Abia takes a new shape.
