The State Chairman National Union of Road Transport Worker (NURTW), Comrade Eugene Eze Job has advised union members to drive safely before, during and after the yuletide period, saying that it is a necessary thing to do so as to avoid road mishap.
Comrade Eze Job who gave down the advise at his office in Umuahia on the occassion of the Union end of the Year Party, further advised them not drink while driving so that commuters can arrive safely to their various destinations.
He harped on the need for drivers to stay away from overloading during the Chrismas season, warning that any member caught will be purnished.
The NURTW boss hinted that the most important thing in life is safety and urged Union members not to quarrel with their fellow drivers as well as passengers and thanked God immensely for his protection on the members from January till the end of the Year.
Eze Job used the medium to thank the Management of Abia Facts Newspaper for deeming him fit to be so honored as the ”BEST UNION CHAIRMAN 2019” which will take place at Confidence Hotel Umuahia on the 20th of December 2019, saying that this is an indication that his leadership style in NURTW is a positive one and urged the Media House to continue with its objectivity, equity and fairness which what Abia Facts is known for.
