Abia North Women Leaders Pays Courtesy Visit To LP Chairman, Ceekay Igara
Abia North Women Leaders Of Labour Party on Tuesday, paid a courtesy visit to the state chairman of the party, Mr Ceekay Igara, at the party’s state secretariat.
The women led by the Abia state women leader of the Labour Party, Mrs Nkechinyere Ibem, stated that they are happy working with Mr Ceekay Igara as the chairman of the Party and congratulated him for the feat the party achieved in the recently concluded 2023 election.
Speaking, the zonal women leader of the party, Honourable Mrs Oby Jerry, described Igara as a capacity and non-comparable leader, and appreciated him for always having the interest of the people at heart.
“Our chairman is a capacity Chairman, he is non- comparable. We thank you for always having us in mind” she said.
The women unanimously pledged to continue giving their unalloyed support to the leadership of the party and the government of governor Alex Otti.
Responding, the Abia state Labour Party Chairman, Ceekay Igara who doubles as the Chairman, council of chairmen of the Labour Party, thanked the women for their support and charged them to join hands and build the party.
‘”you are serious pillars” Igara said to the women.
Others present during the visit include; Mrs Queen Agwu (Ohafia women leader); Mrs Onyebuchi Ekwutos (Isuikwuato); Lolo Grace Ogbonnaya (Bende); Pastor Victory Chinaza (Umunneochi); Joy Ibe (Ohafia) ; Abia south Labour Party chairman, among others.
