Our people of Nkporo have suffered untold hardship because of this road. For uncountable number of years, my people have cried because of this road. When I was in the House of Assembly, I did everything humanly possible to get this road done without success. Trees grew in the middle of this road. As far as our people are concerned, this is the most important road in the world. For me, this is the most important road in Abia State. My dear Governor, you have taken away shame from my face and I pray God to bless you. May God not allow shame to come upon you “.

While responding to the encomium poured on him,Governor Ikpeazu who spoke in Ibo said the road was constructed by Bulletin one of the best contractors in Nigeria. He said the only thing the people of Nkporo ,Ohafia will do for him his prayers and total support for the PDP in Ohafia LGA especially in the forthcoming council polls ,he asked for total support for PDP in Nkporo and Ohafia in general.
