Abia Minority Whip Call on Parents, Church to pray for the Ordained Priests

The Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency in the Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha, has advised Parents and the Church, to always remember the ordained men of God in their daily prayers.

 

Hon. Ukoha who gave the advise, on Wednesday, 1st July, 2020, during the reception to mark the priestly ordination of Rev. Fr. Chiamaka Stephen Idika, into the Catholic fold, at Mater Dei Cathedral Umuahia, explained that ordained men of God, always encounter challenges in their daily assignments.

 

The lawmaker remembered with nostalgia, the joy and excitement he had, when he graduated from the high institution, pointing out that Rev. Fr. Idika, deserves to be happy because it is never an easy thing.

 

He prayed God to give the newly ordained Priest, the wisdom and fear of God, to continue to serve the people that have been entrusted in his hands.

 

Speaking at the occasion, the celebrant, Rev. Fr. Chiamaka Stephen Idika, thanked God for making it possible for him to be among the ordained priest of the Catholic Church.

 

He thanked his parents and all those who have find time to be at the occasion.

 

Rev. Fr. Idika, specifically thanked Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha, for finding time to be at the occasion, despite his tight engagements and prayed God to reward them abundantly.
