Nomination of Awardees for the 2023 Edition of Abia Merit Awards had been extended to November 21st, 2023.
According to a statement signed by the Chairman of the Award Committee, Comrade Ugochukwu Nwankwo, the extension is to give Abians ample opportunity to nominate their preferred awardees.
He further stated that over 500 Abians have already been nominated for the different categories of the Award.
According to Nwankw, the committee will shortlist the nominated candidates and further screen the list for the final award list and successful Awardees with be communicated to that effect.
