2023: Abia May Become A Failed State If We Don’t Get It Right – Otti Charges Umuoba People | SEE PHOTOS

The Labour Party governorship candidate in Abia State Dr. Alex Otti OFR, have warned Abians that the state may become a failed state if leadership is not gotten right in 2023.

 

Dr. Otti who stated this during a Town Hall Meeting convened by Chief Hon. Izuwa Nwogu in Umuoba, Isiala Ngwa South, expressed his determination to partner with Abia like-minds and reclaim the state, maintaining that it would spell doom for Abia and its people if the state fails to solve her leadership problems come 2023.

According to him “We can’t continually do the same thing and expect different results. If we don’t get it right next year, Abia state may become a failed state.”

 

Dr. Otti identified the importance of Agriculture and promised to transform the Agricultural sector in the state, through massive investment in Infrastructure and food security.

In his words: “Malaysia produces 120 products from palm tree. We have what it takes to do better than Malaysia if we get it right. We are a very hard-working people. Farmers will be organized in a corporative society, so that you can get access to funding, improved seedlings and training”, he added.

 

He used the opportunity to encourage the people to be vigilant and shun the devises of some mischievous politicians masquerading as messiahs of the people of the state in the coming elections, insisting that the 2023 election is such an important election which is why Abians cannot afford to be deceived or misled with Propaganda.

One of the leaders of the community, Elder Anthony Asoha, who spoke on behalf of the people, thanked Dr. Otti and promised the Labour candidate that Umuoba is for Labour Party and all her candidates.

 

Dr. Otti was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Priscilla Otti, the Obingwa West candidate for Abia House of Assembly, Mrs. Victoria Onwubiko, Hon. Obi Aguocha, the candidate for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Ubani Dannie, the Labour Party candidate for Isiala Ngwa South State constituency, the Women leader of the party, top party officials and numerous party faithfuls.
