The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) House of Representative Candidate For Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency in the last 2019 general election Cmdr. Macdonald Okezie Ubah Rtd has formerly dumped APGA and moved over to the All Progressive Congress (APC) with his supporters.

In a ceremoney held to receive him over to the All Progressive Congress (APC) at ward B Ubakala covered by AFNEWS on Friday 11th September 2020, Cmdr. Macdonald revealed that the defection was necesary at this point in time after he had made consultation with his support base across his federal constituency and the state.

Among those who defected with him are the Former Memeber Representing Umuahia South in the Abia State House of Assembly Hon. Chijioke Nwachukwu , Ex- Umuahia South APGA Local Government Chairman Hon. Omerenwa and over 500 supperters who have decided to pledge their allegaince to the All Progressive Congress (APC).

While speaking at the event ,Cmdr. Macdonald Ubah said ” we have chosen to move over to the All Progressive Congress to support the party and consolidate on its spread and reach in the state , ”

“We are going to work hard and we are committed to ensuring that The All Progressive Congress emerge victorious in the next election in Abia state “.
