He loved to take care of his patients, to teach and mentor medical students and residents. He also enjoyed nature and would often spend his leisure time in his several farms where he planted a wide range of crop varieties and tended his animals.

His love for humanity and tradition saw him later appointed as the traditional ruler of his own town – Umuasua and other neighbouring towns where he was fondly called Eze Omeroha.

His effortless sense of humour and the “chortle and ring” of his laughter lives on in our minds. His generosity and philanthropism remain a testimony to many who knew him. He was indeed a unique and charismatic individual.

He is fondly remembered by his wife, children and grandchildren.

We are devastated by this loss and he will be sorely missed by everyone!

We are comforted in the knowledge that he may be gone but his legacy lives on.

We celebrate his life.
