Abia State governorship candidate of Labour Party, Dr. Alex Otti on Tuesday unveiled his running mate, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu at his campaign office in Umuahia, Abia State.
Otti during the unveiling described Emetu as a philanthropist whose contributions to humanity stands him out.
According to the gubernatorial candidate, the decision to chose Emetu as a running mate was borne out of prayer and wide consultation, adding that the youths must be happy at the unveiling of their own as the party’s running mate.

Making his acceptance speech, Emetu expressed his gratitude to Otti for choosing him as his running mate and pledged his partnership and corporation to support and achieve the development of a safe and successful Abia State.
“I want to offer my grateful thanks to his excellency Dr. Alex Otti, who has given me the opportunity to serve in this capacity; Sir I want to let you know that you have not only given me the privilege to serve, but you have also given millions of Abia youths a sense of belonging by choosing their fellow youths as your running mate, Abia youths can once again believe that we are leaders of tomorrow”
In his closing remarks, the Labour Party chairman of Abia State, Ceekay Igara expressed his delight in the choice of Dr. Otti, stating that Abians have every reason to be grateful as the partnership of the duo will bring development to the state.
