ABIA: Gov. Ikpeazu Begins Inspection Of His Infrastructure Projects In Aba | SEE LIST
Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu of Abia State, has commenced inspection of his infrastructure projects in Aba.
Some of the projects inspected by the governor on Tuesday, include; the Osisioma Flyover, Okpu Umuobo and Ayaba Umueze (ABSUTH) roads in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area of the state.
After inspecting the progress of work on the sites, Ikpeazu expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work, noting that with the speed he saw, the projects will be completed soon.
Speaking precisely on the Okpu-Umuobo-Mgboko road, the governor noted that it will serve as a major bypass connecting Aba-Owerri Road to the Obikabia-Obikabia road.
He added that Okpu-Umuobo-Mgboko road, being strategic and of great economic importance to Aba, will also serve as an easy route for people going to and from Aba to Isiala Ngwa, Owerri, Umuahia, and Ikot-Ekpene instead of using the Osisioma express, thereby easing traffic on the express.
