RT.HON.SIR UDE OKO CHUKWU COMMISERATES WITH SENATOR MAO OHUABUNWA ON THE DEMISE OF HIS WIFE, NIMI.
The immediate past Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt.Hon. Sir Ude Oko Chukwu has on behalf of himself and his family commiserated with Distinguished Senator Mao Arukwe Ohuabunwa, Ugomba of Nkporo, on the transition of his dear wife,Lady Barr.Nimi Faith Ohuabunwa which occurred on Saturday 22nd July,2023 at Abuja.
In his condolence message to the Senator who represented Abia North Senatorial District in the 8th National Assembly and members of the larger Ohuabunwa family of Atani Arochukwu,the erstwhile Deputy Governor described the Late Lady Barr.Nimi Faith Ohuabunwa as a remarkable woman of great faith,courage and peaceful disposition,who did her utmost best in service to God and humanity in many respects.
The former Deputy Governor extolled the deceased, for her significant contributions to the growth and development of Atani Arochukwu in particular, Arochukwu LGA and Abia State and Nigeria in general through her solid support to her husband and quiet philanthropy over the years.
Sir Oko Chukwu who noted that the demise of Lady Nimi remains a painful and great loss not only to the Ohuabunwa family but also to the entire Arochukwu LGA and God’s Own State, urged them to take solace in the fact that the deceased acquitted herself creditably while alive with indelible imprints on the sands of time.
Sir Oko Chukwu prayed God to grant the soul of Lady Barr. Nimi Faith Ohuabunwa eternal rest and give Senator Mao, his children and other members of the Ohuabunwa family of Atani Arochukwu, the grace and strength to bear the irreparable loss.
