Abia Deputy Governor Pays Condolence Visit to Eze Nmerengwa
Death is beyond the control of man and it is a necessary end for all mortal, the Abia State Deputy Governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu noted as he condoled His Royal Majesty, Eze Nelson Achilefu Nmerengwa and family over the demise of their beloved mother who died at the ripe age of 105 years.
Speaking during a condolence visit to the country home of Eze Nelson Achilefu Nmerengwa, the Isiala 1 of Isieketa Ancient Kingdom in Isiala Ngwa LGA, of the state, Sir Oko Chukwu described Mrs. Comfort Nmerengwa as a very wonderful woman who contributed to the development of her immediate community and Isiala Ngwa at large.
The Deputy Governor urged Eze Nelson Achilefu Nmerengwa, the Chief Mourner and family to be consoled that their mother lived a very fulfilled life of love for God and humanity.
He counselled the bereaved family not to mourn like those without hope, but to strive to sustain those sterling qualities she imbued in them.
Responding on behalf of the family, His Royal Majesty, Eze Nelson Achilefu Nmerengwa who described his late mother as a wonderful woman that contributed immensely to the development of their community and impacted so much to the lives of their people.
He appreciated the Deputy Governor for coming to identify with them.
