Yesterday was indeed pleasurable as Abia Citizen Quest team further reveal the exploits of the Niger Delta Development Commission in Abia State.

Though a rainy day, the Team defiled the rains as the quest requires, to see for themselves the exploits of the commission in the area of road construction.

The first Port of call was the Ahia Afor Amua Isieketa road which can best be described as a ring road as over 4 other adjoining roads where all constructed and has been completed, while one is still ongoing.

We must not forget the hospitality of the good people of Isieketa, who on realizing who we are and our mission, came with Cooked corns and pears, Palm wine and a lot of goodwill!

From Isieketa road in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government area, we navigated to Umuahia North Local Government area where we visited a couple of roads which includes:

1. Umunemeze Okaiuga Nkwoegwu road.

2. Nkata Alike Amaogwugwu Umuogu ring road.

3. Nkata Okpuala Road

4. Larinze Avenue

(SEE PICTURES)

All these roads have been completed and are currently in use.
