ABIA: Chima Anyaso To Celebrate Birthday, New Yam Festival On Sept 16

The deputy governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in Abia state, Dr. Chima Desmond Anyaso will on Friday, September 16, celebrate his birthday coupled with the new yam festival (“iri ji”).

According to a release signed by the Organizing Chairman, Gabriel Paul Aguwa, the festival/birthday celebration will hold at Igbere secondary school in Bende Local Government Area of Abia state by 10am.

The release read partly;

IRI JI OFUJI’S FESTIVAL will be in 4 sessions which include;

1, Novelty Match.

2, Special Non-Denominational Thanksgiving Service.

3, Display of Farm Harvest – Showcasing of Farmers’ yam harvest, being a “Mock-Trade Fair” where the farmers with the biggest yam size will be rewarded.

4, Parade by different cultural troupes, display and personality recognition.
