REFUTAL: OKIYI LIED ABOUT PROF IBE

We have read with disdain an online report which credits the embattled Abia state Vice Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Ambassador Chigorom Okiyi with an allegation purporting a fairy tale refusal by Prof Ibe to release funds to the State Working Committee (SWC) of APGA as the reason for the party’s perceived unimpressive performance at the 18 March gubernatorial polls.

While not desiring to dignify Ambassador Okiyi with a response, since we consider him a rudderless and misguided puppet in the hands of a deranged lunatic desperately needing psychotherapy, the weight of social responsibility placed upon as a highly responsive organization demands that we constantly clear the air of all erroneous impressions created by such dubious charlatans and election buccaneers, whose stock in trade is nothing but political merchandizing. We therefore wish to state as follows;

  1. That contrary to the unsubstantiated vituperation of Ambassador Okiyi Prof Ibe maintains a healthy working relationship with the Rev Ehiemere led Abia SWC of APGA built on trust and mutual respect.

  1. That Prof Ibe is not aware of the purported #60M fraud by some members of the SWC as alleged by Ambassador Okiyi.

  1. That the insinuation of an imagined refusal by Prof Ibe to release campaign funds to the party is a figment of the warped and drug induced imagination of Ambassador Okiyi since all necessary financial and logistic support was made available for prosecution of the election.

  1. That in the spirit of first removing the log in a person’s eye before attempting to help another extract a speck from his eye, Ambassador Okiyi should ab initio confess the distractive and destructive role played by his megalomaniac principal aided by the PDP, which has been widely adjudged as the greatest disservice that contributed in no small measure to the dwindling fortunes of APGA.

  1. That Ambassador Okiyi should leave Prof Ibe out off his quest to become Abia APGA state chairman and the currently ongoing petty ‘rofo-rofo’ squabbles between him and some officials which is reaching feverish pitch because of the approaching party congresses.

  1. That the public should therefore discountenance the uncoordinated rambling of Ambassador Okiyi since it is nothing but a shameful and disgraceful out of tune last dance by a puppet that is tied to a string which is unfortunately being held by an egoistic eccentric masquerading as saviour of the world.
