The recent upsurge in criminal related activities in Isuikwuato Local Government Area in Abia state has taken an incremental dimension with the latest attack on travelers along Abia State University Uturu road that happened yesterday.

Based on a publication by Chijioke Ogbonnaya, he revealed that his brother and family were attacked yesterday by armed robbers/kidnappers carrying AK 47. He warned travelers not to travel through that route again at night. Meanwhile, the criminals fired bullets at the SUV.

For the past 4 months, more than 5 persons have been kidnapped within the Akoli to Akara axis of Isuikwuato road and now the ABSU axis is getting dangerous.
