During the screening of commissioner nominees by members of Abia House of Assembly, a member of house representing Ohafia North, Hon. Mandela Obasi took on with a commissioner nominee Dr. Solomon Ogunji for his actions while serving as a former commissioner in the state.
Hon. Mandela Obasi while questioning him, wanted to know while Dr. Ogunji embarked on a demolition exercise in Aba and Umuahia while serving as a former commissioner, but Dr. Solomon Ogunji while responding to the question, stated that he will do it over and over again because the state according to him needs people like him who can never be compromised at all.
According to him, he said that the state can never go far in its activities if it continues to do things the normal way, maintaining that those who break the law must not go unpunished.
He added that if per chance he found himself in the same ministry, he will never hesitate to do the right thing.
Dr. Ogunji further hinted that the demolition exercise has yielded positive results, especially in areas like Faulks road Aba and other place across the state.
