The people of Aba North are set to experience quality leadership as Prince Chimehilura Ikonne was on Tuesday 22nd of December sworn-in as the executive chairman of Aba North Local government Area.

At the event which was held at the Michael Okpara Auditorium, in Umuahia the state capital Prince Ikonne joined his counterparts from other local government to take an oath of office as the duly elected Chairman of Aba North LGA.

The swearing ceremony is an affirmation of the mandate given to him by the people of Enyimba city.

With the ceremony marking the official commencement of Prince Ikonne’s tenure as Aba North council, the Aba born prince is set to deliver on his campaign promises of improving the lives of the indigenes and residents of the commercial city of Aba through qualitative and people centered leadership.
