The Abia State Government has uncovered a plot to attack a police station and a correctional facility in the Arochukwu LGA of the state.
In a Government Special Announcement released on February, 24, signed by the Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, the citizens are urged to be vigilant and promptly report suspicious movements especially of strange persons to security agencies.
It assured that appropriate measures are being made to forestall the attack.
However, indigenes and visitors advised to go about their normal activities without fear.
