Fani-Kayode Mourns, Reveals 24 Persons Close To Him That Died In 2020 Alone | SEE LIST

Former Minister of Aviation in Nigeria, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has revealed that he lost 24 persons very close to him to the close hands of death in the year 2020.

The politician in a tweet early on Tuesday morning, 29th December said he is deeply saddened by their deaths and prayed God to rest their souls.

First on the list by Fani-Kayode is the former Chief of Staff to President Buhari, Mallam Abba Kyari who AFNews recalls died as a result of complications from the coronavirus disease.

“2020 really was the proverbial “Annus horriblis.”

I am deeply saddened.

We shall miss them all.

May their souls rest in peace.

O Lord of the Universe be with those of us that they have left behind and strengthen us” he tweeted.

Fani-Kayode described the year as a terrible year before listing those close to him who died in the course of the year.

He wrote: “24 souls (and NOT 20) that were dear to me passed in 2020. What a terrible year!”

He listed them as:

1. Mallam Abba Kyari.

2. Colonel Emmanuel Nwobosi.

3. Mr. Sam Nda Isaiah.

4. Chief Richard Akinjide.

5. Governor Abiola Ajimobi.

6. Professor Daniel Adjei Bekoe

7. Senator Buruji Kashamu.

8.. President John Jerry Rawlings.

9. Mr. Gbolabo Ogunsanwo.

10. Mrs. Abigail Makinde.

11. Mrs. Ibidun Ighodalo.

12. Prince Dapo Ojora.

13. Chief Harry Akande.

14. Mr. Reginald Amonoo.

15. Mr. Hilary Chikwendu

16. Mrs. Yemisi Ojo.

17. Mr. Paul Efemini Poli (aka Decure).

18. Senator Saidu Umar Kumo.

19. Miss Ohirenua Giwa Amu.

20. Olorogun Albert Okumagba.

21. Mr. Abayomi Jolaosho,

22. Mr. Tonye Graham-Douglas,

23. Professor Charles Adisa.

24. Mama Elugbaju

Meanwhile, three people (loggers) have been killed and about 40 others abducted by suspected Boko Haram insurgents in Wulgo forest near the town of Gamboru, Borno state the French news agency AFP reported.

A source told AFP that the terrorists attacked people while they were chopping wood in a village on the border.
