The Member Representing Umunneochi State Constituency, Honorable Barrister Okey Igwe has flagged off the grading of rural roads in Umunneochi Local Government Area.
Honorable Igwe who revealed that his representation is a call to serve, called for collaboration of all to make the work successful.
Roads to kick start work immediately includes :
Akpaka Eze Ala Umuogbu road
Umuelem/Ihie road
Ihie/Amata road
Nneato Eziama Fred (park Uto) road leading to Umunze Orumba South Anambra state and others
Honorable Igwe promised to take the road rehabilitation to other Communities in Umunneochi, making sure each ward is captured.
The traditional ruler of Umuehihie Autonomous Community, HRH Eze Engr. I.U Okam while thanking Honorable Igwe called on all to encourage the workers in any little way to make the work successful.
In their contributions, a former leader in the then Isukwuato/Umunneochi LGA, Chief Darlington Ezenuruihe, Youths and Women of the Community expressed their gratitude to Honorable Igwe for alleviating their sufferings this season and prayed God to be with him in his political pursuit.
