During a media zoom meeting with Abia Media Professionals , Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State revealed that the government is ready to prosecute the sacked Executive Secretary of Secondary Education Management Board (SEMB) Mr. Lawrence Ogbonna if Abians who have information and facts can come forward with their evidence.

The governor explained that the government did not sack anyone, because in the first place they did not employ them and can not sack them. He want further to reveal that they are also making effort to see if they can properly recruit those that are qualified and according to the space available.

Still during the interaction with Abia Media Professionals all over Nigeria via Zoom and monitored by AFNEWS, the governor also stated that his government can not resolve all the problems of the state, but will make effective impact that other administration can build on.

The Governor emphasized that the roads his administration has done since it’s inception in 2015 will outlive his administration and other administration may not even need to go back to those roads because they were built to last.

He revealed that most of those roads were built with cement technology which was deliberately done so as to add to the road stock of Abia State and enable progressive growth in Abia State infrastructure.
