The Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency in the Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Onyekwere Mike Ukoha, on Tuesday, 30th June, 2020, held a successful Town Hall Business Meeting, in Arochukwu.
Speaking at the special occasion, the lawmaker who was ably represented by his Media Assistant, Mr. Chimezie Okoroafor, informed the gathering, of his numerous activities so far.
He explained that the essence of the Town Hall Business Meeting, is to let those, especially, the business oriented individuals, parents and every other persons, know of the various programmes by the NIRSAL Micro Finance Bank (a subsidiary of the CBN), in other for them to benefit.

The lawmaker further listed some of the various programmes of the bank, to include the Agric loan, SME loan, and the COVID/Household loan.
The Minority Whip noted that on Agric, training took place in March and June, adding that hopefully, the third round of training will be in July.
He therefore, call on business owners, parents and farmers, to avail themselves of the opportunity, to apply for a loan in any of these categories, so as to help their businesses.
Earlier, the Bank Manager of NIRSAL Micro Finance Bank, Arochukwu branch, Mrs Queen Anozie, enlightened the people on the categories of loan, they can applied for.
She expressed surprise that many people from Arochukwu LGA, have not been visiting their office to apply for these loans, stressing that it is a great feat for the LGA to have gotten a branch of their bank.
Contributing, Mr. Elijah Aroh, a staff of NIRSAL, expressed delight in the lawmaker, saying that his efforts to ensure that his constituents are aware of what is happening, is so good.
Mr. Aroh, call on the people to come to their office and apply for a loan on Agric, SME and COVID and promised to ensure that the bank fastens its processes, to enable the people to benefit.
During the meeting, there was a question and answer session, which helped the people to understand better of the banks programmes.
