Speaker of the 7th Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, has condoled with the family of Late Chief Allen Nwachukwu (Obioha Ndi Ngwa) over the death of their patriarch.

In a condolence message to the family, the Speaker described Chief Nwachukwu, father of Honourable Nnamdi Allen Nwachukwu, Member representing Osisioma South State Constituency at the 7th Abia State House of Assembly, as a man of humane personality, uncommon wisdom, an astute politician and a hard-working individual who dedicated a great part of his life to the service of his people.

“An outstanding personality of Ukwa Ngwa extraction, all these qualities showed in the discharge of his duties as former Chairman of the defunct Obioma Ngwa LGA, former Commissioner for Works in Abia State, former Deputy Chairman of PDP in Abia State, and a former national officer of the PDP, traits which he bequeathed to his children as seen in Honourable Nnamdi Allen Nwachukwu at the Assembly”, he said.

While praying for the repose of the soul of Chief Nwachukwu, the Speaker, on behalf of Members of the 7th Abia State House of Assembly, urged the family to be consoled by the fact that their father led a good life and prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

“Abia will miss him greatly”, he concluded.
