The Chancellor of Gregory University Uturu (GUU), Professor Gregory Ibe has prayed for the quick recovery of HE Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu who has tested positive to COVID-19 and is currently receiving treatment.
This was contained in a Goodwill message titled ” With His stripes Ye Were healed “sent to the office of Abia State Governor and signed by Professor Gregory Ibe .
The professor said He ” received with strong emotions news about the positive outcome of one out of the many Corona virus test you voluntarily subjected yourself to as a way of reaffirming your earlier decision to lead the state ‘s onslaught against the dreaded COVID 19 disease from the Frontline”
The Chancellor of Gregory University Uturu described the result as an unfortunate development which ” however underscore the level of personal sacrifice you are willing to bring to bear on the productive stewardship you are rendering in Abia State ”
He assures the Governor of his Continues support , empathy and solidarity of his people who are solidly behind him ” consequently , it is my prayer that the good Lord remembers your labour of love especially in this season coupled with your fruitful helmsmaship over his dear state and subsequently visit you with divine restoration of health for ‘With His stripes Ye we’re healed”.
