The Minority Whip/member representing Arochukwu State Constituency, in the Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr Mike Ukoha, has provided relief materials to all the wards in the LGA, for the vulnerable people in the area.
The materials were handed over to all the political party Chairmen in Arochukwu LGA, for onward delivery to the various wards.
In his remarks during the occasion, Hon. Dr. Ukoha, thanked his people for obeying the directives of the state government.
He emphasises on the need for them to reflect on the huge sacrifice of Jesus Christ, for mankind.
The lawmaker noted that with strong faith, we shall all go through the COVID 19 pandemic without any casualty being recorded in Arochukwu LGA and Abia State in general. He also charged the people to be law abiding citizen and see the current restrictions as temporary measures. He further promised the people effective representation in the state.
Also speaking, a stakeholder, Mrs. Charity Achinivu, thanked the party Chairmen and advised them to ensure that the materials are given to the indigents in the wards.
At the event, some party officials expressed gratitude in the initiative to reach out to all, without being partisan.
