Information as revealed by Unity Magazine has it that some Cow meat dealers in Aba, Abia State actually sale dead cow meats to customer in the market without taking cognizance of the disease that killed the Cow.

In this exclusive, we gathered that 14 cows died during their transportation from the north to Aba. Without investigation, the owner of the Cow decided to slaughter the cow and sale to the public.

The unity magazine was able to get a first hand information from the market chairman Mr Uzochi Orji, he pointed out that one Mr Uche Limited who is a butcher in the market ( Waterside Market ABA) transported some cows from the north to Abia State and on arrival , 14 of the cows were dead.

He revealed that owner of the cows did not care to ascertain what actually killed the 14 cows, but he went ahead to slaughter the cows even when the market leadership had asked him to dispose or bury the dead cows.

Mr Uzochi pointed out that this has been the regular practice of Mr Uche Limited and pleaded with the Abia State government to come into the market and stop him from the further sales of the 14 dead cows
