Abia State House of Assembly has concluded plans to screen Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu’s nominee for Chairman Abia State Independent Electoral Commission (ABSIEC).
The nominee Prof Mkpa Agu Mkpa is billed to be screened on Tuesday 10th March 2020 during Plenary by 10am.
The House dissolved to the Committee of the Whole and considered the report of the House Committee on Agriculture on a petition titled “Save Our Soul”: A Call for Urgent Intervention in the Looming Crises between Ubaha- Umunna Nsulu Community and Fulani Herdsmen”, in the Committee of the Whole.
The House also considered the report of the Joint Committee on Health and Education on H.A.B 4: “A Bill for a Law to Establish the Abia State Hospital Management Board”.
The House subsequently adjourned Plenary to resume back on Tuesday, 10th of March, 2020, by 10am.
