A call has gone to both the government and well meaning individuals in the State to come to the financial aid of Mrs. Hephzibah A. C Ambrose who hails from Ndi Okoro Compound in Obinkita Village, Arochukwu in Arochukwu L.G.A to enable her embark on a breast cancer surgery.
Mrs. Ambrose who made the passionate call when the Member Representing Arochukwu State Constituency in the Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha and his entourage visited her at her Aba residence, hinted that she started noticing a lump on her breast some time in June 2018, not knowing that it was cancer that was gradually developing.
According to her, ever since, she has been spending huge amount of money on drugs and other measures which her family felt was necessary to cushion the effect, while adding that she no longer have money to go for a surgical operation soon.
Mrs. Amrose 47, a widow with two kids and resides in Cotonou, Benin Republic, further stated that she needs about 3.5million Francs CFA for Chemotherapy today (14th November 2019), at Centre National Hospitaller Universtaire Hubert K. Mega, Benin Republic.
She also used the medium to call for financial support from both the government and the individuals and specially thanked ”ALL AROS in USA” for their huge financial support for her, praying that God will reward them abundantly.
Speaking during the visit, the Member representing Arochukwu State Constituency ABHA, Hon. Dr. Mike Ukoha explained that he was shocked to find out that Mrs Ambrose happens to be the first daughter of Late Mazi Tasie, a Pharmacist and the first former Pharmacitical Technician who contributed immensely to All Aro USA Medical Center in Arochukwu.
Hon. Ukoha stated that as one of his constituents, he felt shock when was informed of the development, hinting that such prompted him to inform Aros in the Diaspora just as quickly responded through their massive financial support and expressed delight on the good will showered so far by Aros in USA.
He therefore call on the wife of the Governor Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu and other well meaning Abians to come to the aid of this lady by supporting her financially.
