PRESS RELEASE:PROF GREGORY IBE ENDORSES ENGR.CHINEDUM ORJI FOR ABIA HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY SPEAKER

The Chancellor and Proprietor of Gregory University Uturu,Prof Gregory Ibe has joined other stalwarts of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party in Abia State to endorse the aspiration of the Majority Leader of the Abia State House of Assembly, Engr. Chinedum Orji to become the Speaker of the 8th Assembly.

Speaking to news men recently in Amaokwe Uturu his hometown, Prof Ibe, who is a founding stakeholder of the party and a member of the Abia Elders Council,praised the sterling leadership qualities of Engr Orji,stressing that the 8th assembly will benefit immensely from his wealth of political experience and charitable disposition to the conduct of governance.

Prof Ibe therefore enjoined other incoming members of the 8th assembly to embrace the candidature of Engr.Orji and subsequently work towards his emergence as Speaker, to ensure the continuation of smooth and peaceful working relationship between the executive arm of government and the legislature.
