BREAKING: SENATE PASSES 2019 BUDGET

The Senate Tuesday approved the sum of N8.916 trillion as the budget for the 2019 fiscal year.

The amount passed by the apex legislative chamber is, however, N86 billion higher than the N8.83 trillion initially submitted to the National Assembly in December 2018 for approval by President Muhammadu Buhari.
