Speaking during the occasion, the factional party Chairman of APC in Isiala Ngwa North, Hon. Chief Samuel Ogechi Ndubueze (Isiuba), described his group as the duly elected executives and authentic owners of the party who went to the National congress, and has been on ground since 2015. He said that the Chief Ikechi Emenike faction, which his group belongs to, has a more solid structure across the constituency and vowed that the synergy between both parties will surely lead to victory. Chief Ndubueze said he was elated that SDP had earlier adopted President Mohammadu Buhari as its Presidential candidate, stating that the marriage has the blessings of the national leaders.

In his remarks, the SDP candidate for Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency, Comr. Ihuoma Ezechinyerem, expressed delight over the party’s decision to adopt him as their candidate. He described himself and the House of Reps candidate, as godfearing and well trained men who will not forget the people when elected. He expressed confidence that the partnership will give them victory at the polls.

The House of Representatives candidate, Barr. Oracle Chukwudi Nwala started by saying that his candidacy has demystified anti party in the state. He stated that he has the support of PDP, APC, APGA, SDP and other aggrieved members of the constituency because people have found him to be the most credible candidate in the contest. The legal giant compared his political travails to what the group has passed through and promised that as someone who has suffered similar injustice, he will not to treat their support with levity. He emphasized that he will represent nde Isiala Ngwa and not SDP in the National Assembly.

The SDP Chairman for Isiala Ngwa North, Chief Chijioke Ozems and his counterpart in the South, Chief Ugorji, both expressed delight at the adoption, which they said will further brighten the party’s chances in the election.

Earlier, the APC factional Chairman in Isiala Ngwa South, Chief Nnamdi Ezenwoko, described Barr Oracle Nwala, as a grassroots politician who has distinguished himself and earned a solid reputation that cannot be overlooked. He said this when Barr Nwala and his entourage met with his group in Amuzu. According to the veteran Politician, the Man Oracle, is the kind of man that can be entrusted with power because he has the capacity to deliver. He promised that his group will throw their weight behind him after the leaders of his group had deliberated on the matter.
