The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) senatorial candidate for Abia South Senatorial District, Chief Chris Nkwonta, has promised to create a workable synergy between the federal and state governments that will anchor a speedy transformation of Abia State if elected senator representing the zone.

Chief Nkwonta, who disclosed this during a chat with newsmen, said team work and partnership between these tiers of the government have become necessary and expedient in tackling issues of underdevelopment and infrastructural decay in Aba.

He said, “I will work in conjunction with the state governor. Secondly, I will sponsor Motions and Bills that will contribute directly towards addressing the problems of infrastructural decay in Abia South. Though we may not fix all the problems in one fell swoop, we will from day one hit the ground running by working in synergy with the state and federal government of Nigeria.

“We shall achieve this task by working together as a team and partners in progress. The most important thing is to identify all these problems and bring them to the front-burner; do all that is necessary including working in synergy with the governor of Abia State and relevant federal government agencies”.
