Former Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu, has extended warm birthday felicitations to the current Deputy Governor, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, applauding his contributions to governance and his supportive role in advancing the development agenda of the state.

In a goodwill message made available to journalists, Ude Oko Chukwu described Emetu as a committed public servant whose leadership qualities and sense of responsibility have continued to strengthen governance in Abia State.

He noted that the Deputy Governor has demonstrated admirable dedication in supporting Governor Alex Otti, ensuring that the vision of the present administration translates into tangible benefits for the people.

According to the former Deputy Governor, the partnership between Governor Otti and his deputy has helped to stabilize governance, deepen accountability, and promote people-oriented policies across the state.

“Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu has shown great loyalty, humility, and capacity in the discharge of his duties. His calm disposition and commitment to service have made him an important pillar in the ongoing transformation of Abia State,” he stated.

Ude Oko Chukwu further emphasized that leadership requires not only vision but also the ability to work harmoniously with others, noting that Emetu has consistently demonstrated this through his supportive and collaborative approach to governance.

He expressed confidence that the Deputy Governor’s continued service would further enhance the progress being recorded in Abia, particularly as the administration intensifies efforts to deliver sustainable development across key sectors.
