The Chief Liaison Officer of Abia State Liaison Office, Abuja, Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, has extended heartfelt felicitations to Muslim faithful across Abia State, Bende Federal Constituency, and Nigeria as they celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.
In a goodwill message marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, Chinasa described Eid-el-Fitr as a deeply significant period that embodies spiritual renewal, sacrifice, discipline, and unwavering devotion to Allah.
He noted that the successful completion of Ramadan is a reflection of the strength, faith, and resilience of Muslim faithful, stressing that the virtues of compassion, generosity, and selflessness demonstrated during the fasting period should not end with the celebration but should remain a guiding principle in everyday life.
According to him, Eid-el-Fitr goes beyond festivities, serving as a powerful reminder of the enduring values of love, peace, tolerance, and unity, which are essential for fostering harmony and sustainable development in society.
“Eid-el-Fitr is not only a celebration but also a reminder of the virtues of love, peace, tolerance, and unity which are essential for the growth and stability of our society,” he stated.
Chinasa called on Nigerians, irrespective of religious, ethnic, or political differences, to seize the opportunity of the festive season to strengthen communal bonds, promote peaceful coexistence, and work collectively towards building a more united and prosperous nation.
He further offered prayers for the acceptance of the supplications and sacrifices made during Ramadan, expressing optimism that the blessings of the season would usher in renewed hope, prosperity, and harmony across homes and communities.
“May the blessings of this season bring renewed hope, prosperity, and harmony to every home and to our dear state and nation,” he added.
The Abia Liaison Chief concluded by wishing Muslim faithful a joyous, peaceful, and fulfilling Eid-el-Fitr celebration, urging all citizens to remain committed to the ideals that promote unity and national progress.
