No more vagabonds in PDP - Makinde takes shot at Wike

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has said that there are no more vagabonds in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Makinde made the assertion during the inauguration of Oyo State PDP Secretariat in Ibadan on Tuesday.

He said the vagabonds in the PDP grew up in 2015 and had their time in 10 years to do whatever they wanted to do.

Makinde further stated that those vagabonds have been expelled from the PDP.

“They were expelled from the PDP in November 2025. So, no more vagabonds in PDP,” he said.

According to the two-term governor of Oyo State, the PDP lost power at the federal level in 2015 because of the gap in the party’s leadership.

“There was a gap in the leadership, otherwise those vagabonds would never have been able to take hold of the PDP,” he added.

It is believed that Makinde’s comment is aimed at FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, who is leading a rival faction in the PDP.
