After months of speculation and rumors about a potential change of scenery for Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese star’s future has finally been settled—proving once again that the UEFA Nations League champion still has plenty to offer.

On Thursday, Al Nassr officially confirmed Ronaldo’s contract renewal for another two years, meaning Saudi Arabia will continue to enjoy the presence of CR7 despite persistent reports that he was looking to leave the Saudi Pro League and explore other opportunities.

In this next chapter, Ronaldo will aim to build on his efforts with the Arab club—his most challenging endeavor since joining—where titles have often slipped through his fingers. Over the next two years, he will continue to serve as the face and leader of the club’s sporting project, determined to change that narrative.

SunSport can reveal the former Manchester United ace has also been offered a host of perks to become a “dream ambassador” for the cash-rich Saudis which could take his income to more than half a billion for the next two years.

On top of his £178m-a-year wages, Ronny is banking a £24.5m signing bonus – which will increase to £38m if he triggers the second year of his contract.

An insider at the Saudi Pro League has also told us he will be given a 15 per cent ownership stake in the club, worth £33million.

With bonuses of £4m for winning the golden boot and £8m if Al-Nassr win the title, he can bank more than half a BILLION pounds before his deal ends.

Ronaldo and his family will also be looked after royally off the pitch.

He will have 16 people working full-time – three drivers, four housekeepers, two chefs, three gardeners and four security people.

This was all paid for by Al-Nassr, at a cost of around £1.4 million.

There is also £4m for use of a private jet, as well as the promise of sponsorship deals with Saudi companies which could reach £60million.

Financially, Ronaldo has also secured a staggering new deal with Al Nassr. The contract includes record-breaking figures that surpass those he received when he first joined the team in 2023.

Under the new terms, Ronaldo will earn $468 million annually [ which is around ₦723,953,880,000 ] —amounting to a total of $936 million [ ₦ 1,447,660,486,481 ] over the next two years. This breaks down to $39 million [ ₦60,329,490,000 ] per month, $8.9 million [₦13,767,499,000 ] per week, and an eye-watering $1.288 million [ ₦1,997,700,880 ] per day.

To put it into perspective, Ronaldo will earn roughly $53,666 [ ₦83,236,502.66 ] per hour, $894 [ ₦ 1,386,602.94 ] per minute, and about $15 [ ₦23,265.15 ] every second—a truly astronomical salary.
